In continuation of the ongoing feud between two of hip-hop’s biggest stars, Kendrick Lamar has released a second diss track targeting Drake, just days after dropping his initial response track, “Euphoria.”

The new song, titled “6:16 in LA,” sees Lamar further escalating the conflict with a barrage of scathing lyrics aimed directly at Drake. Over a simmering, soulful beat, Lamar unleashes a series of accusations, questioning the loyalty of Drake’s OVO crew and branding him a “fake bully” and a “terrible person.”

Lamar’s lyrics on “6:16 in LA” leave no room for ambiguity, as he raps, “Have you ever thought that OVO was working for me? Fake bully, I hate bullies / You must be a terrible person / Everyone inside your team is whispering that you deserve it.”

The Compton-born rapper also takes aim at Drake’s attempts to spark social media trends, referencing his 2020 single “Toosie Slide.”

The release of “6:16 in LA” comes just a few days after Lamar’s previous diss track “Euphoria,” which saw him questioning Drake’s authenticity and his struggles with racial identity. That track was a direct response to Drake’s own diss efforts, including the songs “Push Ups” and “Taylor Made Freestyle,” the latter of which drew legal threats from the estates of Tupac Shakur and Snoop Dogg due to its use of AI-generated vocals.

The ongoing feud between Lamar and Drake has captivated the hip-hop community, with the two titans trading barbs and accusations over the past several weeks.
