Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign have teamed up once again for their latest album, “Vultures 2.”
Following their February release, “Vultures 1,” this new installment features collaborations with prominent artistes such as Young Thug, 070 Shake, Future, Playboi Carti, Kodak Black, Don Toliver, Lil Durk, and West’s own children, North and Chicago. The album is now available on major streaming platforms.
The anticipation for “Vultures 2” had been building since before the release of “Vultures 1.” Kanye initially announced plans for the second and third installments to drop on March 8 and April 5, respectively. However, updates on the third volume remain sparse.

In a March interview with Hypebeast, Kanye mentioned that the albums would be released independently through his platforms, although “Vultures 2” is also accessible on popular streaming services. “Vultures 1” similarly went live on streaming platforms upon its release in February.
Kanye’s recent independent releases reflect his quest for authenticity. However, this move is also driven by necessity following a series of controversies. After making inflammatory statements and losing major partnerships with Adidas and Creative Arts Agency, Kanye faced significant backlash. He later issued an apology to the Jewish community, expressing regret and a commitment to greater sensitivity and understanding.

Despite mixed reviews from critics, “Vultures 1” achieved commercial success, debuting at the top of the Billboard 200. The track “Carnival,” featuring Rich the Kid and Playboi Carti, also climbed to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. Kanye and Ty Dolla $ign promoted the album through several listening events and headlined Rolling Loud California.

Ty Dolla $ign’s last solo album, “Featuring Ty Dolla $ign,” was released in 2020. His collaborative history with Kanye includes notable tracks like “FourFiveSeconds,” “Real Friends,” “Fade,” “Ego Death,” “Freeee (Ghost Town, Pt. 2),” and “Everything We Need.”
“Vultures 2” marks another significant collaboration between the two artistes, continuing to build on their shared musical legacy.
