In an exclusive interview on Hitz FM with popular radio host Andy Dosty, John Dumelo, the newly elected Member of Parliament for Ayawaso West Wuogon, expressed his admiration for the electorate’s increasing wisdom and discernment in making political decisions.

Reflecting on the recent elections, Dumelo emphasized that the electorate is no longer easily swayed by material handouts but instead places a higher value on policies and their own lived experiences.
“Handouts don’t easily sway some voters; they make decisions based on policies and their current realities,” Dumelo asserted.
His statement comes at a time when political strategies are being reconsidered, with voters becoming more discerning about the long-term impacts of political promises.
According to Dumelo, it’s no longer enough for politicians to offer immediate material gains to secure votes.
