Recent reports have surfaced indicating that Jennifer Lopez and her husband, Ben Affleck, are discreetly attempting to sell their luxurious $60 million mansion in Beverly Hills amidst swirling divorce rumours.
Interestingly, the property resurfaced on the renowned real estate website Zillow over the weekend and again on Wednesday, this time listed as sold.
Multiple sources, who possess direct knowledge of the matter, have now confirmed to TMZ that Ben and Jennifer are indeed making efforts to sell their residence in a low-key manner.
These insiders have revealed that the couple has enlisted the services of realtor Santiago Arana from The Agency, the same agency founded by Mauricio Umansky, who is known as Kyle Richards’ ex. Santiago has reportedly been showcasing the house for approximately two weeks, but unfortunately, they have yet to secure any potential buyers.
According to the outlet, the estranged couple had initially set an asking price of “around $65 million” for the property. Regrettably, Ben and Jen are expected to incur significant financial losses from the sale, even with that price tag.
TMZ has reported that they will suffer a multimillion-dollar setback due to the broker’s commission, a newly implemented tax on exceedingly expensive properties, and the substantial amount they invested in renovations.
This development comes amidst weeks of speculation regarding the imminent divorce of Ben and Jennifer. The actor has already vacated the premises and relocated to a rental home in Brentwood.
Meanwhile, sources close to the situation have informed TMZ that J.Lo is actively searching for a new residence, presumably without Ben.
