Jackie Appiah is celebrating her birthday today, December 5. Her photos, sighted by Tru News Report, which have captivated her numerous fans across Africa and beyond, are making waves on social media.
Jackie was born on December 5th, 1983, in Toronto, Canada. She is the youngest of five siblings. Tru News Report recently spotted these stunning photos on her Instagram platform, where she exudes an aura of sheer elegance.
Having spent her early childhood in Canada, Jackie relocated to Ghana with her mother when she was just 10 years old. She is widely recognized by her maiden name, Appiah.
In 2005, she tied the knot with Peter Agyemang and they were blessed with a son. Jackie’s father, Kwabena Appiah, who currently resides in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, is the younger brother of the late Joe Appiah, a renowned lawyer in Kumasi.
Appiah’s on-screen appearances became regular after she was invited by Edward Seddoh Junior, the writer of Things We Do For Love, to play the role of Enyonam Blagogee. She later participated in Tentacles, Games People Play, Sun City, and various other TV series.
Recalling her first time on set, Appiah remembers feeling very shy. She was cast in a Venus Film Production called Divine Love, where she portrayed the protagonist Kate. Although she didn’t believe she did too well and fumbled, she managed to impress everyone, with only a few people noticing her nervousness.
According to Appiah, her favorite role was in Mummy’s Daughter, a film by Venus Films. The movie revolves around the Bartels Family, and she played the character of Princess, the daughter. She loved her performance and was satisfied with the role she portrayed. Appiah now perceives the local film industry as having undergone positive changes and believes that others will recognize its ultimate success.
