Ghanaian actress and development communicator, Ebi Bright has reflected on her historic win after securing a seat in Parliament for Tema Central, a constituency long considered a safe stronghold for the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP).

Her victory in this election was not just a political win; it was a personal triumph against the odds that many thought would keep her from entering the world of politics.

Shedding light on her achievement, Bright shared, “I don’t see any barriers in the pursuit of my interests. That is why I have broken all the odds against me in this election.

“Tema Central was considered a very safe seat for the NPP, but here we are today.”

The seat, traditionally seen as firmly in the hands of the NPP, was widely regarded as a place where change was unlikely.
