Popular street-hop artist, Habeeb Okikiola, better known as Portable, has been granted bail by the Isabo Magistrate Court in Abeokuta, Ogun State, after facing multiple charges, including assault and conspiracy.
The singer was arraigned on five counts, including alleged restriction, use of dangerous weapons, and conduct likely to cause harm. He, however, pleaded not guilty.

Nine of his aides—Nurudeen Warris, Adetola Alashe, Samuel Adeleke, Oluwaseun Ayenuwa, Oluwapelumi Adeosun, Gospel Kanu, Precious Ohiegebo, Ifeoluwa Babatunde, and Fatimo Muhammed—were also charged with similar offenses.
According to reports, Portable and his associates allegedly attacked three town planning officers—Abidemi Onabanjo, Ramon Lateef, and Akinpelumi Oyero—while they were carrying out official duties at Odogwu Bar, owned by the singer.
His legal counsel, Oluwatoyin Ayodele, pleaded for bail, stating that the singer had learned his lesson. The court granted him bail set at N2 million with one surety in the same sum and adjourned the case to March 5 for trial.
