Black Sherif, one of Ghana’s brightest musical talents, has finally broken his silence on Shatta Wale’s recent threats and critiques of his career and fashion sense.

The young artist, who has captivated fans worldwide with his heartfelt lyrics and unique sound, dismissed the drama with remarkable composure, labelling it irrelevant to his world.

“It’s pretty irrelevant in my world,” Black Sherif said during a radio interview. “The discourse and everything—you have to care about something to give it attention, but I don’t care. It’s not that I don’t care disrespectfully.”

Shatta Wale, known for his brash personality and headline-grabbing remarks, had sparked controversy after posting a video on Instagram in which he claimed he could destroy Black Sherif’s career, just as he had allegedly done to others in the industry.

The comments sent ripples across social media, drawing reactions from fans and critics alike. But Black Sherif made it clear he has no interest in entertaining the feud.

“I’ve seen people call my posts subliminal because of what Shatta said, but I really don’t have time to respond to him,” he explained, firmly steering the narrative back to his music.

The exchange has been interpreted by many as a clash of generations in the Ghanaian music scene. Shatta Wale, a veteran with a long history of confrontations, is known for keeping his name in the spotlight through controversial remarks.
