Ghanaian Afrobeats star KiDi is riding high on the success of his latest hit, Lomo Lomo, featuring the ever-talented Black Sherif.
In an interview with 3entertainment’s Naphtali Baah, KiDi shared his joy and gratitude over the track’s reception, which has captured the hearts of fans both locally and internationally.
“It’s a blessing. This is why we make music—for people to be happy, for people to catch their vibe, hear the song, and love it,” KiDi expressed, his voice filled with appreciation.
“I’m grateful. Shout out to everybody, to my brother Black Sherif—we have a hit, we have a global hit, and we have a national hit, and I’m grateful for that.”
For KiDi, the success of Lomo Lomo is a reminder of the unpredictable nature of music. “That is music for you. Music has no time span,” he noted, emphasizing the mysterious journey songs often take before they resonate with listeners.

“Sometimes you release a song, it will hit in a day, and sometimes it will take three months, and sometimes a year,” he continued. “So I’m super grateful. We had no idea how long it was going to take, but it’s here, and we are grateful.”
