Akwaboah has mentioned in a new interview that it would be difficult for him to associate himself with a particular political party by composing a song to support their campaign in the lead-up to the elections on December 7.
Nevertheless, he stated that he would not dismiss the possibility of performing for any political party that requests his participation at a rally.
The former Male Vocalist of the Year winner at the Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMAs0 believes that writing a song would inherently convey his political affiliation.
Akwaboah explained to Abeiku Santana on Okay FM that he would rather compose a song for the country to express his patriotism rather than a political party.
“It will be difficult to compose a song for a political party. However, if I’m booked to perform at their event, I am a businessman so I will heed to their call.
“I will rather compose a song for Ghana because if the country goes well we will all enjoy,” he stated.
