Singer Sefadzi Abena Amesu, popularly known as Sefa, has opened up about her recent departure from Black Avenue Musik, the label owned by rapper and entrepreneur D-Black.
In an interview on Accra FM, the ‘E Choke’ singer reflected on her experience, describing her time at the label as both challenging and rewarding, emphasizing the familial bonds she forged along the way.
“When you’re working with people you consider family, it’s always a roller coaster. There have been some business misunderstandings, but Black Avenue Musik has always been family,” she explained, hinting at the complexities that can arise in creative partnerships.
Sefa’s decision to leave Black Avenue Musik has sparked discussions in the music industry, as fans and industry insiders alike express curiosity about her future endeavours.

“I’m very hardworking, dedicated, and self-motivated. I’m open to work,” Sefa stated, showcasing her readiness to embrace new opportunities. Her positive outlook signals her ambition to explore a broader artistic horizon beyond her previous affiliations.
