Auntie B, known for her role in Efiewura, recently spoke with Amansan Krakye of Property FM, where she expressed that although she is single and open to dating, she does not feel desperate for a partner.
The veteran actress clarified that when this topic arises during interviews, it often leads people to mistakenly believe she is eagerly seeking a husband, which is not true.
She also reflected on her six-year relationship with the late Bob Santo and her life following his passing.
“I am not married, and I am single. I have no one in my life, but sometimes, when you open up about your love life and marital status during interviews, some people have the perception that you are desperately looking for a man.
“I’m not desperate, but when I get a man, I will think about it before deciding. If anyone is interested in me, I will get married,” she disclosed during the interview.
In a previous interview on Accra FM, Auntie B disclosed that not having a man in her life is the least of her worries.
She asserted that God’s timing is ideal and that she won’t be pressured by the conservative prescription of the African setting and rush into something that will be detrimental ultimately.
Known in real life as Harriet Naa Akleh Okanteh also stated that she does not want to get married right away because that would be a horrible relationship, which has become the norm in society.
