“I’m not a card-carrying member of the NPP,” King Paluta declared. His firm response comes in light of widespread rumours fueled by his appearances at NPP events, including those hosted by the Vice President and flagbearer of the party, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
Explaining his actions, King Paluta emphasized the importance of respecting elders, a principle deeply rooted in his upbringing.
“I was brought up to respect my elders. If an elder like the Vice President invites me to perform, I can’t say no,” he shared.
Beyond the performances, the rapper revealed his philosophy when it comes to tokens of appreciation.
“After performing, if they give me something or even hand me a card, I’ll accept it. It’s just my way of showing respect,” King Paluta said, making it clear that his actions are not indicative of any political allegiance.
