Ghanaian actress and entrepreneur Abena Serwaa Frimpong, popularly known as Shugatiti, has opened up about her newfound love and her vision for a private, intimate wedding.
In an interview with Zionfelix on February 7, 2025, she shared details about her relationship, expressing her happiness and the desire to keep certain aspects of her life away from public scrutiny.
Shugatiti revealed that she is deeply in love and financially secure with her partner. However, she has no plans to make her wedding a public affair.
“I’m in love, and my man is financially okay. I wouldn’t invite anyone to my wedding; I’m the one getting married, not Ghanaians.

“Even if you’re invited, your phones and other devices will be taken from you. I mind my business nowadays, so I keep everything around me private,” she stated.
Over the years, the actress has gained attention for her unconventional views on relationships and marriage, often emphasizing her independence.
However, she now admits that her perspective has evolved. While she has always envisioned a small wedding, she is now seriously considering marriage.
“I’ve always been a fan of small weddings. My kind of wedding would be on a boat or ship, with a small group of people, and the maximum number of guests should be 50,” she retorted, emphasizing her preference for an exclusive ceremony.
Reflecting on her relationship, she hinted that she would have accepted a proposal had her boyfriend popped the question during their recent trip. “I think about marriage now. I would have said yes if my boyfriend had proposed when we were in Zanzibar,” she confessed.
