MzBel has spoken publicly about her relationship status for the first time, revealing that she is engaged but has not yet tied the knot.
The 43-year-old Ghanaian singer just gave birth to her second child. When she unexpectedly announced her pregnancy online, she shocked her followers. While making her pregnancy announcement, MzBel also showed off a massive ring on her finger.
On June 25, 2023, the mother of two announced the birth of her second child with the caption, “For to us a child is born, to us @baby_ohemaa1 is given, and the government will be on her shoulders… Forever grateful,”
MzBel revealed her relationship status during an appearance on the United Showbiz Show this past weekend. The singer, however, emphasised that she has participated in traditional marriage ceremonies.
The mother-of-two claims that she made the decision to keep the ceremony confidential. “I am engaged but am not yet married. The ceremony I went to was private and not available to the general public. she emphasised.
Days ago, she revealed that social media wields so much power and has the tendency to make or unmake a person. In her view, if there’s something that one cherishes, social media should be the last place they share it.
She made this analogy in an effort to conceal the identity of the father of her daughter from her fans and the general public who have been questioning the identity of the baby’s father.
In a recent interview, Mzbel explained why she chose to keep her baby’s father’s identity secret, stating that she was worried about the possible negative effects of disclosing personal information on social media. She gave examples of people who suffered bad results after disclosing important details about their relationships online.
