Sally Mann has expressed her intention to confront Shatta Wale in person to resolve their differences physically.
The entertainment analyst has been a vocal critic of the SM boss, particularly after what she claimed to be a lacklustre performance he put up at the African Games opening ceremony.
Despite acknowledging Wale’s usual stage presence, Sally felt that he failed to meet expectations and appeared overwhelmed by the event.
She also questioned his song choices, suggesting that there were better options available to entertain the audience.
Sally’s comments during an interview with Andy Dosty on Adom TV sparked a backlash from Shatta Wale’s fans, some of whom threatened her online.
In response, Sally has now threatened to meet Shatta Wale face-to-face to settle their disagreements physically.
In 2023, during a conversation with Andy Dosty, Sally Mann recalled a similar incident where she was tormented by the Shatta Movement ‘street boys’ for three consecutive days after expressing her usual criticisms about the dancehall artist.
She revealed this while expressing her views on the controversy between Kuame Eugene and his former househelp, who has been receiving threats from his camp after her recent revelations.
Sally, who supported Kuami Eugene, mentioned that it is not surprising for fans of the highlife singer to target her, considering the negative image she has portrayed of their idol.
“Kuami Eugene is a loved person, so definitely people will call and threaten her. That’s exactly how SM boys compelled me to stop using my number.
The number of calls I receive at dawn will blow your mind. The insults and threats were just overwhelming.
Someone will call you and ask whether I’m sick in the head, whether I take tramol. For three solid days, they’ve been calling me. I had to stop using that phone,” she established.
