IGP Reshuffles Police Management Board in Major Shake-Up

Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Christian Tetteh Yohuno has announced a significant restructuring of the Ghana Police Service, appointing new officers to key leadership positions.

The reshuffle, which took effect on March 19, 2025, aims to enhance efficiency and operational control within the service.

Among the notable appointments, DCOP Lydia Yaako Donkor has been named the new Director-General of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID).

Other key changes include COP Maame Yaa Tiwa Addo-Danquah as Director-General of R&P, COP Daniel Kwame Afriyie as Director-General of PSO, and DCOP Duuti Tuaruka as Regional Commander for the Ashanti Region.

The IGP expressed confidence in the newly appointed officers and wished them well in their new roles.
