If You Can’t Support Her, Mind Your Business- Nana Aba Anamoah Slams Critics Of Afua Asantewaa

Nana Aba Anamoah has strongly slammed the critics of Afua Asantewaa Aduonom as the young woman races towards the finish line in her attempt to break the record for the longest singing marathon.

Despite the overwhelming support that Afua has garnered, there is a group of individuals who have collectively agreed that she is simply wasting everyone’s time with her attempt to secure a Guinness World Record.

Expressing her disapproval, Nana Aba Anamoah deems the animosity emanating from these individuals as both baseless and foolish, emphasizing the need to put an end to it. She suggests that those who are unable to offer support should instead focus on their business.

But where from the lousy, silly, hatred towards Afua? If you can’t support her, just mind your business eh. What is this? Shameful.

Nana Aba Anamoah’s displeasure with a tweet allegedly made by Zapp Mallet, mocking Afua for her singathon attempt, may not have been explicitly stated, but it is quite evident.

Zapp Mallet, upon noticing that Afua was losing her voice, attempted to offer a solution by suggesting that she consume something substantial, as singing is not meant for the faint-hearted.

Through a series of posts on X, Zapp Mallet subtly implied that Afua’s ambition surpassed her singing abilities, as achieving such remarkable feats is typically reserved for individuals with well-defined vocal capabilities. He pointed out that Afua Asantewaa is taking on more than she can handle.

Currently, Afua Asantewaa has set her sights on surpassing the current record-holder, Indian singer Sunil Waghmare, who accomplished an impressive 105-hour singing marathon in 2012. Her ultimate goal is to etch her name into the Guinness Book of World Record by surpassing Waghmare’s 102-hour mark.

Even professional singers won’t attempt a feat like this without a voice coach around to be coaching what to do. No strategy. Just play, I will sing. I feel for Afua paa.”

“Herrhh! Find some heavy to eat. Singing is for the strong. Don’t let deceive you. Now you see you can’t even hit key? So so off key. All bcos you tire. Smh.

“Where are our “famed” voice coaches? The girl is damn tired and she’s losing her voice. Won’t somebody show her how revamp it? With the way she’s singing? Smh,” he wrote.
