Nana Agradaa has once again stirred the pot, targeting gospel musician Empress Gifty and her husband, Hope Adorye.
In a fiery TikTok video, the controversial spiritual leader did not hold back, criticizing the couple’s sudden public support for John Dramani Mahama and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) following Mahama’s victory in the 2024 presidential election.
Agradaa accused the couple of hypocrisy, claiming their newfound admiration for the NDC and Mahama was opportunistic and rooted in bitterness towards their former party, the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
“If you and your husband want to find solace in the NDC after the NPP showed you ‘pepper,’ that’s fine. But don’t act like you love John Mahama more than anyone else,” she said with a mix of frustration and sarcasm.

In her tirade, Agradaa reminded her audience of Hope Adorye’s controversial political past, which, according to her, contributed to his downfall.
“Your husband’s bad attitude towards the government even landed him in prison,” she alleged. Referring to their newfound allegiance to Mahama, she continued, “Now, because you’re hurt, you’re running away from your original party and mentioning JM’s name.
“If you’ve been sacked from your party and you want to seek solace with JM’s camp, you better stay quiet and stay there.”
The timing of Empress Gifty and Hope Adorye’s apparent shift has raised eyebrows across political and entertainment circles. Gifty, who has often been associated with the NPP, recently publicly praised Mahama.
