Nigerian hip-hop artist Ice Prince has shared an intriguing statement on X, previously known as Twitter, inviting music enthusiasts to engage in a lively discussion.
In his statement, Ice Prince expressed his hypothetical desire to engage in a lyrical battle with Ghanaian rapper D-Black, confidently asserting that he would outshine him in every aspect.
Ice Prince even humorously suggested that D-Black would be so overwhelmed by his lyrical prowess that he would seek assistance from renowned Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie to avoid further embarrassment.

Ice Prince gained popularity with the release of “Oleku”, a song that has been remixed numerous times in Nigeria. He emerged victorious in the 2009 Hennessy Artistry Club Tour and went on to drop his first studio album, Everybody Loves Ice Prince, in 2011.
The album featured hit singles such as “Oleku”, “Superstar”, and “Juju”. In 2013, Ice Prince followed up with his second studio album, Fire of Zamani, which included tracks like “Aboki”, “More”, “Gimme Dat”, and “I Swear”.
In 2015, he was appointed as the vice president of Chocolate City, a position he held until he departed from the label in 2016. Ice Prince has collaborated with prominent African rappers like Navio from Uganda, Khaligraph Jones from Kenya, AKA from South Africa, Sarkodie from Ghana, and many others.
