Nigerian singer, Ayra Starr has recounted how she met Wizkid for their collaboration.

In an interview, she said that Wizkid’s official Disc Jockey, DJ Tunez, was responsible for connecting the two of them.

The Marvin Records signee claimed that Tunez got in touch with her to let her know that Wizkid was interested in using her on a song.

Ayra Starr claimed she was requested to attend the recording session for the song “2 Sugar” at the “Fever” crooner’s studio.

She continued to say while getting ready to attend Wizzy’s studio, she was anxious but that once there, everything was simple.

She said; “We were in LA and DJ Tunez, who is Wizkid’s official DJ, sent me a message to pull up to the studio, telling me that Wizkid wants to record with me.

I was so nervous before I went to this session but when I got there it was so easy.”
