Ghanaian musician, songwriter, creative director, and entrepreneur Kwame Nsiah-Apau, known by his stage name Okyeame Kwame, said he wanted a “woman who had my mother’s qualities and Annica proved to be the right person.”

He made this revelation during an interview with Doreen on Joy Prime TV, when he was asked how he knew Annica was the one.

The couple has been married for 14 years; they got married in 2009 and have two children, Sir Bota Nsiah-Apau and Sante Nsiah-Apau.

In May 2021, Okyeame Kwame and Annica Nsiah-Apau launched their book, “Love Locked Down.” The book chronicles their love journey and offers solutions to some marital and relationship issues. “We provide our opinions on romantic relationships, love, and family life as an addition to the numerous amazing resources that exist within our communities and around the globe,” he says.

Unlike other available resources, this book is written by a married couple, with Okyeame Kwame and Annica sharing their insights and advice on everything from first dates to wedding planning.

There are other people who, having found the key to a happy marriage, make it their life’s mission to teach others how to achieve the same level of marital bliss they’ve experienced. In this case, Kwame and Annica are examples.
