Kofi Okyere Darko (KOD) recently had a conversation with Abeiku Santana where he disclosed his secret strategy of garnering votes for John Dumelo without the actor’s knowledge.
Despite being a strong supporter of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), KOD decided to distance himself from the party due to Nana Akufo Addo’s disappointing performance, which has resulted in unprecedented economic hardships.
Surprisingly, KOD extended his support to John Dumelo in the Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency by transferring his vote from Dome Kwabenya, all without Dumelo’s awareness, a move that caught many off guard.
Furthermore, KOD expressed no remorse for leaving the NPP and stated that he is unconcerned if the party has any issues with his decision. He emphasized that he is solely responsible for his children’s education expenses and no one else.
In a previous interview, KOD emphasized the importance of not voting for the incumbent NPP party due to the numerous challenges he has faced.
During the said interview, he further elaborated on the failures of the NPP administration, which have resulted in a difficult and costly life for Ghanaians. Consequently, he expressed his intention to support the opposing NDC party in the upcoming 2024 elections.
