Bridget Otoo has shared details about how she encountered her husband and the reason why she broke up with him more than once.
The ace broadcast journalist, who is also affiliated with the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), expressed concerns that her partner might hurt her because he possessed all the qualities a woman desires.
Moreover, Bridget suspected that her husband whose name is Mr Evans Agoe Tetteh might have been strategically placed in her life by the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP).
To address her doubts and insecurities, she asked her friend to investigate him, and upon discovering that he was trustworthy, she decided to give him another chance. However, despite this, she eventually ended the relationship at a certain point in time.
“When I saw him, he was well educated and had everything so I was like this guy is going to break my heart,” she said.
Bridget mentioned that upon their reunion, he expressed his inability to accept her back unconditionally, as she had the freedom to come and go as she pleased. He proposed that he would consider reconciling with her only if she agreed to conceive a child with him, as a symbol of his genuine commitment to building a life together. This request mirrored a previous occurrence during their customary wedding ceremony.
“Because he had pursued me for two years he was forthright but I wasn’t sure so when we met we travelled. I think he took me somewhere. He was the person that helped me explore Ghana because I didn’t use to go anywhere.
“First, he took me to Prampram and then to Elmina and I really liked him. When I realized I liked him I broke up with him. I didn’t mind him for like six months.
“I was so afraid. I just went back to normal work. I blocked him because I felt he was a distraction. I thought he was planted by the NPP because he had roots in the NPP, ” added as quoted by MyNewsGh.
