Osebo has expressed his disapproval of Firestick’s criticism of his outfits when he accused him of wearing fake products which he termed ‘banku.
During an interview on Hitz FM, Osebo clarified that he finds it unfair for Firestick to judge him when he himself won’t be able to differentiate between genuine and fake products, a comment that has added a new aura to entertainment in Ghana.
Furthermore, Osebo emphasized that he has been wearing designer outfits, including the famous D&G since 1998, making him well-versed in the realm of fashion. Therefore, he believes that Firestick has no authority to educate him on the authenticity of designers.
Overall, Osebo highlighted that it is impossible to determine the authenticity of an item solely based on a photograph.
In 2023, Osebo told members of the ‘Beef Nation’ who were getting it ‘twisted’ about his ‘fashion war’ with maverick prophet Ajagurajah that the ‘friendly feud’ is not about who is rich.
Born Richard Brown, Osebo the Zaraman and Ajagurajah set social media ablaze when they challenged each other over who is the ‘dopest’ fashionista instigated by netizens. Days, after the challenge Ajagurajah threw in the towel.
Thereafter, social media started pitching him against Ghanaian millionaire and businessman, Nana Kwame Bediako (Freedom Jacob Caesar) to see whose fashion sense is top-notch. In response to that, Osebo said people are misunderstanding the fundamentals of the feud.
According to Osebo, if fashion was all about wealth and brand names then the likes of Mr Kwame Despite should be involved in the beef.
“To those of you who think this beef is about who is Rich and who wears expensive brands. Why didn’t you choose MR Kwame Despite and other rich men over me instead? Why me?” he quipped
Osebo continued, “Because we are talking about the combination is a calculation not who is richer. Remember being a fashionista is different from being a stylist, I’m not a coward wen it comes to combination is a calculation and I’m ever ready for this beef period”
“I’m leaving Ghana for some time. I will come back to beef whoever you guys want me to, @iamfreedom is not a small fish to catch ,I love him I respect him and his high fashion sense.I’m going for some shopping.I will come back soon,” he told fans.
