Kwaw Kese, also known as the Abodam man, has shared the story of how he met his wife of eight years during an interview on Hitz FM with Andy Dosty.
He mentioned that he first came across Nana Pokua on Facebook and decided to take a chance by sending her a direct message (DM) to express his interest in starting a relationship with her.
Kwaw revealed that he had previously seen Nana Pokua affectionately known as Poks at Reggie Rockstone’s Office but had missed the opportunity to talk to her. Determined to pursue his true love, he searched through Reggie’s friends list on Facebook, found her name, and immediately reached out to her.
After Nana Pokua responded, they engaged in a conversation that altered the course of their lives. Throughout their relationship, Kwaw Kese discussed the challenges they encountered, including the adjustments Nana Pokua had to make to accommodate his public image. Despite the obstacles, their love story has stood the test of time.
In 2016, the rapper married Poks, whose full name is Doris Nana Pokuah Kyei Baffour. This union came after the rapper’s previous marriage to his American wife, Ann, came to an end in 2014 after 6 years.
On why his marriage with his American wife, Ann, ended after six years of being together, Kwaw said in a previous interview that love goes where love is.
According to him, one can meet someone who has everything in the world, but if there is no love, it will be difficult for one to sustain the relationship for a long time. He further stated that the love between Ann and him was very tight when they first met.
