In a recent interview with blogger Zionfelix, Kofi Nti made a bold statement that has sparked a lot of controversy.
According to him, Daddy Lumba surpasses the legendary status of Michael Jackson. Kofi Nti believes that Lumba’s extensive collection of remarkable songs sets him apart as a better artiste.
To emphasize his point, he suggests translating Lumba’s songs into English while preserving their core melodies and rhythms.
Kofi Nti goes on to claim that Lumba is possibly the only artiste in the world who has songs in every genre, which elevates his stature.
He even compares Lumba’s greatness to that of Bob Marley. Unsurprisingly, Kofi Nti’s statement has caused a massive uproar in the comment section of the TikTok video where it was shared.
It is quite astonishing to think that Michael Jackson, widely regarded as one of the greatest artistes of all time, could be considered second best to Ghana’s Lumba.
This video has gained significant attention online, and Tru News Report was able to obtain a copy of it.
