Ghanaian actress and media personality Gladys Mensah Boaku, popularly known as Nayas, has shared a heartfelt message about the importance of love in her life.

During a recent interview on Adom TV, the actress explained that while money is essential, it is love that truly drives her and defines the kind of relationship she desires.

“For me, I value love more than money,” Nayas began, emphasizing that love holds a deeper, more significant place in her heart. “Love is deep and important. If I have someone who loves me, we can do better and start all over.”

Nayas, who has been open about her past relationships, made it clear that she is not interested in superficial connections.

“If you are a man coming into my life now, don’t come with the intention of using me. I need love. It is so important,” she stated, reiterating her desire for genuine affection over materialistic pursuits.

Reflecting on her experiences, Nayas shared her perspective on the nature of true love. “When you love someone, you don’t get jealous or envious of the person,” she explained, suggesting that emotional maturity and mutual respect are key ingredients for a healthy relationship.

Her sentiments come at a time when the topic of love versus materialism is a common discussion in the public sphere, especially among celebrities.

“Love is so important for me. We came to meet money, but love is different,” Nayas concluded, reinforcing her belief that genuine connection and understanding are what truly matter in the end.
