I Lost My Privacy the Moment I Became Famous – Bobrisky

Nigerian transgender influencer and internet sensation, Bobrisky, has opened up about the challenges of fame and the loss of privacy that comes with it.

In a recent post on social media, Bobrisky expressed frustration over the constant scrutiny and invasion of her personal life, a situation she says has become overwhelming since she gained popularity.

“Every spirit of monitoring spirit in my life, disappear,” Bobrisky wrote, adding a direct appeal for privacy. “Imagine posting and people are trying to know your location.

“I lost my privacy ever since I became famous. I wish I was never famous. You just have to keep everything about you away from social media. Nigeria is too toxic.”

Her words struck a chord with many followers who empathized with the pressure that comes with being in the public eye.

Bobrisky, known for her bold personality and strong online presence, has been a figure of both admiration and controversy.

While she has built a massive following through her fashion, beauty tips, and candid posts about her transition, the spotlight hasn’t always been easy for her to manage.

The influencer’s comments shed light on the darker side of social media fame—where seemingly innocent posts can lead to relentless monitoring and criticism.

With a massive online presence, Bobrisky has often faced invasive questions about her personal life, including her whereabouts, relationships, and even her gender identity.

The frustration Bobrisky shared is not unique to her. Many celebrities, influencers, and public figures have expressed similar feelings about the loss of privacy in the digital age.

Social media, which once offered a platform for self-expression and connection, has also turned into a double-edged sword—allowing fans and critics alike to track and analyze every aspect of an individual’s life.
