Ohemaa Mercy has praised Joe Mettle for emulating Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy’s success in filling the Accra Sports Stadium during his Praise Reloaded concert on June 30.
Speaking to Blessing on GHOne’s RythmzLive, Ohemaa Mercy expressed her confidence in Joe Mettle’s ability to accomplish such a feat, highlighting his musical talent and versatility.
“I knew he could do it. I am so proud of him because it takes a bold heart to pull off such a grand event. It’s amazing that he not only envisioned it but brought it to life.”
Ohemaa Mercy emphasized the strong bond she shares with Mettle, emphasizing that they are not just colleagues in the industry but also ‘brothers and sisters in Christ.’
She also mentioned that they prayed together for the success of the concert several days before it took place.
“Sometimes when I think back to the beginning stages, I would call him and say, ‘Brother, we pray and we know God will do it.’ He would reply, ‘Ohemaa, if you can do it, all of us can do it.’ His faith and determination are truly inspiring.
“I was so happy to see the Christian Dome come together for this particular program,” she added. “It’s a testament to the power of faith and music in bringing people together.”
