Industry insiders and music enthusiasts have been vocal about their predictions for the Artiste of the Year award which happens to be the biggest award at this year’s Telecel Ghana Music Awards.
The highly coveted award has sparked intense discussions on social media, with top contenders like King Promise and Stonebwoy at the centre of the debate.
Renowned music producer Joseph Appiah, also known as Quick Action, recently took to Facebook to share his prediction, tipping Stonebwoy as the deserving winner based on his impressive growth in the industry.
The 2024 TGMA is slated for at the Grand Arena of the Accra International on June 1.
“Stonebwoy for TGMA Artist of the Year” I am a witness to this Journey, I have been watching from afar and I am proud of the Musical growth.
“I am speaking as the first Music Producer of @Stonebwoy, He has worked very well by gaining International recognition,Hard work,His collaboration with Angélique Kidjo, Organising annual musical concert is a big deal. Meanwhile, King Promise is confident in his chances of winning the highly coveted Artiste of the Year award at the upcoming Telecel Ghana Music Awards on June 1, 2024, at the Grand Arena of the Accra International Conference Centre.
This year’s category features renowned artists such as Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Kuami Eugene, Nacee, and Black Sherif.
While many speculate that the main contenders are Stonebwoy and King Promise, the consensus leans towards King Promise having a slight advantage.
The artist, hailing from Nungua, expressed his belief in this sentiment during an interview with Graphic Showbiz, providing compelling reasons why he deserves to clinch the prestigious accolade on an eventful night.
