Rosemond Hamdiya Brown aka Akapem Poloo has revealed that she literally fell for Shatta Wale when she saw a video of him in boxer shorts near a poolside.

Speaking in a recent interview with Okyeame Quophi, the former slay and twerk queen who recently converted to Islam said Shatta Wale has always been her celebrity crush which blossomed the day she saw the aforementioned video of the Dancehall King.

Akuapem Poloo has developed an enviable friendship with Wale over the years but this revelation is something most SM fans never saw coming. The video of the interview was shared on Twitter and we have culled it for you herein.

Poloo proudly announced on Tuesday, August 9, 2022, that she has become a Muslim. The mother of one was seen in an IG post holding the Islamic water carrier which is popularly known in the local parlance as ‘buta’ in her right hand.

She shared the post alongside this caption; “Alhamdulillah full Muslim now thanks to the Deputy Imam of ASWAJ Ga West and Cheif Imam on Nsakina Quran Reciter and his board for assisting in this .”
