Rapper Dr Cryme has disclosed on Property FM the reasons behind his consistent choice to wear a cap, highlighting how this fashion element has become an integral part of his brand identity.
The handsome Tema-based artist mentioned that he considers caps essential, adding that he feels a sense of incompleteness when not wearing one.
“I’ve also heard some rumours where people are saying that the fact that I’m seen constantly wearing a cap might be because I have a bald head.
“But it’s funny, especially for someone that I have been braiding my hair since I started music such that my hair is now so long,” he said in an interview with Amansan Krakye.
“By God’s grace I do not suffer for my hair to grow and if I should leave my hair untouched for a week or two it would be a problem at the barbering shop.
“I think saying I might be bald because I’m always wearing a cap is someone’s opinion especially being a celebrity and an icon in the eyes of people who will definitely talk,” he posited.
