Nana Ama McBrown is embracing the joys of motherhood while grappling with a deep-seated fear concerning her only daughter, Maxine Mensah.
In an interview with Bola Ray on Starr Chat, she expressed her desire to live long enough to see her daughter grow, emphasizing the profound impact motherhood has had on her life and outlook.
McBrown shared her reflections on the transformative changes she has undergone since welcoming her daughter, Maxine.
“I knew I had children at home, but when I gave birth, one thing I would say has changed a lot of things around me, the way I think… Right now, I wake up in the morning, I say God help me do this. Don’t kill me if I die right now, looking at what I’ve gone through and what is right now,” McBrown said.
McBrown added, “I mean, there’s nothing like losing a mother… So, don’t let me die and leave my daughter… It hits me sometimes, and I just feel like the next thing I need right now in life is a long life.”
The actress also acknowledged the impact of her actions on her daughter’s future, saying, “Aside from that, I know that right now, everything I do will be on the Internet, and Maxine will wake up one day in the future to read all that, so my steps must be ordered accordingly.”
