Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has opened up about her past relationships during an interview with Chude Jideonwo monitored by Ghanastreetjournal, reflecting on the lessons learned and her journey through love and heartbreak.
Speaking about her first marriage, Tonto admitted she wasn’t as emotionally mature as she could have been at the time. “I was very insensitive during my first marriage. If I had been more mature, things might have been different. I failed in some ways,” she confessed.
Tonto went on to share her perspective on vulnerability in relationships, stating that while it’s always a gamble, timing plays a critical role.
“It’s not always about finding the right person; it’s about the right timing. Two amazing people can meet and still not work because they’re at different points in their lives,” she explained.

When asked if she regrets her past relationships, Tonto was firm in her response. “I don’t regret any of my relationships. My first gave me the most beautiful boy in the world.
“The second taught me that even if someone shows you love, they could still be the devil. I learned so much, and those lessons have shaped who I am today.”
While reflecting on her experiences, the actress acknowledged her role in the challenges she faced. “I don’t think I have the right to regret because I put myself in those situations. What I owe myself is to grow, learn, and move forward,” she said.
