Former CEO and Managing Director of 3Media Network, Sadiq Abdulai Abu, professionally known as Baba Sadiq, has taken a bold stance against Stonebwoy’s latest track, “Jejereje,” labelling it as lacking any artistic merit.
The prospective parliamentary candidate for Okaikoi Central did not hold back in his criticism, stating plainly that the song amounts to nothing more than a ‘noise.’
His remarks came after a fan of the Dancehall artist suggested on Facebook that Baba Sadiq was secretly enjoying the track.
In a direct response, Baba Sadiq declared, “I don’t listen to ‘noise.’ It’s not a ‘superior artistic product.’”
Sadiq’s comments are sure to spark discussions among fans and critics alike, as the clash between artistic expression and commercial appeal continues to be a hot topic in the industry.

The recent development exacerbates the existing tensions between the two prominent figures in Ghana.

It would be recalled that following the lawsuit filed by Stonebwoy against Baba Sadiq a few months ago, Sadiq revealed that he has also initiated a criminal process against Stonebwoy.
In an interview on 3FM, Baba Sadiq informed host Giovani Caleb that he and his legal team were readying to serve Stonebwoy with a lawsuit for allegedly threatening him during their altercation.
Baba Sadiq acknowledged that he has already received a summon to appear in court, indicating that this legal battle is likely to be protracted as he also has his own grievances to address.
Expressing concern over the situation, Giovani emphasized the need for unity and solidarity within the Ghanaian showbiz industry, rather than internal conflicts.
