Nana Aba Anamoah has addressed the subject of rumours in an exclusive interview with Nana Romeo on Accra 100.5 FM. Her words were a powerful reminder of resilience in the face of idle talk.
“I do not have rumours,” she began, her tone calm but resolute. “Rumors are started by people who are bored, angry in life, people who have absolutely nothing to do, and so they have cultivated the habit of fabricating stories.”
Her statement carried the weight of someone who has long refused to let the noise of gossip dictate her peace.

In Ghana, as in many societies, gossip is an almost inevitable feature of public life. Stories often emerge from thin air, from market stalls to online platforms, spreading like wildfire.
These rumours could have easily been a distraction for someone like Nana Aba, a household name and media powerhouse. But she has chosen a different path.
“The people around me know very well that I do not give a toss,” she said with a confident smile. “Nobody around me will come and say, ‘Nana Aba, they are saying this or that.’
No one around me does that. Not my family, not my friends, not my circle.” Her words painted a picture of a woman deeply rooted in self-assurance and surrounded by a network that values her focus and integrity.
