Lilwin expressed his condolences for the late Nigerian actor John Okafor (Mr Ibu) on his Instagram page.
A few years ago, Lilwin had the privilege of working with Mr Ibu in a Kumawood movie dubbed Sure Banker.
Currently, Lilwin is involved in the production of a high-budget movie called A Country Ghana which features Nigerian actors such as Ramsey Nouah, Charles Awuram, and Victor Osuagwu (also known as Awilo Sharp Sharp).
In honour of their late colleague, Mr Ibu, Lilwin decided to give them a day off from filming.

Social media erupted on March 2, 2024, with the news of the passing of Mr Ibu. Tru News Report was among the first online platforms to report this breaking news.
The cause of his death, according to the President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Emeka Rollas Ejezie, was cardiac arrest.
“I announce with deep sense of grief that Ibu didn’t make it. Mr Ibu suffered a cardiac arrest according to his manager of 24 years, May his soul rest in peace,” Rollas said on his Instagram page.
Ejezie said the loss of Ibu leaves a profound sadness in the hearts of fans worldwide.
He said Ibu with his remarkable talent and unparalleled comedic timing, reshaped the landscape of Nigerian movies, leaving an indelible mark on the industry.
“Throughout his illustrious career, Mr. Ibu brought immeasurable joy to countless souls through his memorable performances. His infectious laughter and boundless energy transcended screens, bringing smiles to faces in every household across Nigeria and beyond,” he said.
