Biribi Gyegye Wo host on Onua TV, Mona Gucci revealed her ability to stand up against bullies. She confidently stated that she possesses a fiery spirit that can match any bully’s aggression.
During a recent interview on TV3, Mona emphasized that she refuses to be a victim of online bullying and is prepared to confront anyone who dares to make disparaging comments about her.
While she acknowledged that criticism is inevitable for public figures like herself, she drew the line at continuous disrespect. Mona made it clear that if she personally witnesses personal attacks directed at her, she will not hesitate to defend herself.
She said:
Maybe because I started this whole thing at an early age and I’m used to it, I don’t bother. But sometimes I see certain comments and stuff, and I get emotional because I’m human, I feel bad about it.
But that is the job, and for any job that you want to do, there are repercussions. Some will love you, and some will hate you. And it’s not like I care.
She said if she is online and becomes a subject of bullying, she would respond without hesitation:
“When I’m online and I see you, I will respond. You can’t bully me. I will respond, but if I don’t see it, then it’s your lucky day,” she said. I noticed that the word itself, controversy, is like people are reading, like, some sort of bad meaning into it. The word ‘controversy’ on its own. It can be good. It can be bad,” she concluded.
