During an interview on The Beat 99.9 FM, Nigerian Afrobeats artist, Ruger, revealed an intriguing statement about his ability to love multiple women simultaneously and equally.
Ruger expressed that his love for women is genuine and not merely based on infatuation. He emphasized that gestures such as gifts and compliments play a significant role in developing his affection towards them.
He said; “I can fall in love with five different women at the same time. I don’t know if it’s possible for others but I can do it. And I will actually love them, not infatuation.
“It’s just easy for me to fall in love. Gifts and compliments make me develop feelings for ladies. I really appreciate gifts and compliments.”
Ruger also clarified that despite experimenting with other genres of music, “I can do every other thing but I am an Afrobeats artiste”.
The singer whose legal name is Michael Adebayo Olayinka, in a previous news item published by Tru News Report, expressed his belief that one must possess a certain level of tenacity and competitiveness in the music industry to carve out a niche for themselves.
As an artist signed to Jonzing Records, Ruger has stated that he aspires to be perceived as a formidable force by his peers, as this is an integral part of his identity. He elaborated on this perspective while discussing the creative impetus behind his popular track, ‘Asiwaju’, during a recent interview with Adesope Olajide on the Afrobeats Podcast.
Ruger, who boasts in Pidgin and Yoruba on the track, said it’s bad when someone is not seen as a threat in the entertainment industry.
He premised his opinion on the lyrics contained in his banger, Asiwaju. Here’s what he said; “It [‘Asiwaju’] is everything. It’s a viby song. It’s also a personal message because I don’t want anyone to look at me as not dangerous.
