Berla Mundi has graciously shared the heartwarming story of how she crossed paths with her beloved husband, enveloping her fans in a captivating tale of love and affection.
The esteemed media personality candidly revealed that she was initially unaware of Mr. Tabi’s existence, but his entrance into her direct messages left an indelible impression. His bold declaration of wanting to be her life partner instantly caught her attention, as she found him undeniably attractive—a revelation that has sparked much vibrancy when it comes to entertainment in Ghana.
Delving deeper into her narrative, Berla Mundi disclosed that she initially didn’t take his advances seriously, as she harboured reservations about the authenticity of social media connections. However, fate intervened when one of her friends presented her with a photograph of David Tabi, igniting her curiosity about his online presence.
With her interest piqued, Berla Mundi embarked on a thorough investigation of his social media activities. As she delved deeper into his virtual world, a bond began to form between them, facilitated by her persuasive friend, who advocated for David Tabi’s suitability as a partner.
Eventually, Berla Mundi succumbed to her friend’s advice, leading to the blossoming of their relationship, which has now blossomed into a joyous marriage.
“He [David Tabi] sent me a DM many times. Sometime back I shared a picture and wrote that I am not a married woman and I am waiting to get my husband. Then somebody sent me a DM and said ‘Oh but I can be your husband.’ When I checked the person’s picture I said this person is cute but because I don’t like social media stuff I didn’t even pay attention.
“And then Naana [Berla’s close friend] showed me his picture and asked if I knew the guy. Then I sent Freddie to check out his social media handles and find out who he was following and who was following him to know more about him. I later found out that he grew up together with one of my friends and now I happen to marry him. I guess it was meant to happen,” she said during the marriage ceremony.
Berla Mundi has married a David Tabi man in a low-key wedding, deliberately kept away from the public eye on social media to avoid unnecessary attention.
The private ceremony took place on Friday, January 5, 2024. To ensure utmost privacy, guests were strictly prohibited from using their phones during the event.
David, who studied in London, returned to Ghana to oversee his family’s business. Despite the secrecy surrounding the wedding, an anonymous Twitter blogger named Sel the Bomb managed to capture the only photo from the event.
