Shatta Wale has revealed the reasons behind his decision to block MC Portfolio and DJ Slim, pointing to a history of perceived disrespect and misrepresentation.
Speaking on the Fakye Showbiz platform, the SM boss disclosed that an interview involving DJ Slim deeply hurt him, prompting him to cut ties with both Slim and MC Portfolio.
“I had already blocked your (MC Portfolio’s) account and that of Slim, so I was surprised when you noticed I had blocked you,” Shatta Wale stated, addressing MC Portfolio directly.

“I don’t want to mention Slim’s name until God comes because of the interview you guys did some time ago where he insulted me badly. When I listened to it, I got hurt and decided to block both of you.”
The dancehall artist, known for his unapologetic nature, didn’t hold back in expressing his disappointment over the situation.
He suggested that their actions had fueled misconceptions about his relationships within the music industry, particularly with fellow artist Stonebwoy.
“You people are the reason why Stonebwoy feels I am his enemy. I don’t know what problem we have. Recently, I was in a meeting, and someone asked me about the feud between me and Stonebwoy, and I told him I had no idea,” Shatta explained.
His remarks highlighted the lingering tensions between the two artists, which have often been amplified by external narratives.
