Reflecting on the day’s events, KRG shared, “The devil is a liar. Today I lived one of the longest days of my life. I almost lost my blood brother Barthez.”
This heartfelt message struck a chord with his followers, many of whom are familiar with the risks of navigating busy roads, particularly for bikers who often contend with reckless drivers.
In recounting his brother’s ordeal, KRG expressed a newfound commitment to road safety and issued a plea to fellow bikers to wear proper protective gear. He wrote, “I have never panicked like I did today.
“We thank God he’s now out of danger, though he has a broken right arm and leg. All bikers, please remember to wear your gear right, because it’s not always your mistake—it’s often the other driver’s.” His message was a call to action, reflecting not only his personal anguish but also a broader appeal to Kenya’s motorbike community.
For KRG, the accident sparked a strong stance against biking, especially for those he holds dear. He passionately warned his family and friends, “We, your family members, are left devastated when things go wrong. Some of these things are preventable.
