For Abraham Davis, affectionately called Salinko in Ghana’s thriving Kumawood film industry, acting has proven to be more than a passion—it’s a lucrative and transformative journey.
The seasoned actor recently shared insights about the financial and personal rewards of his career during an interview with Accra FM, offering a glimpse into how the movie industry has shaped his life and legacy.
“Shooting movies has been very profitable for me,” Salinko began, a tone of gratitude evident in his voice.
“The films I’ve shot have not only earned me money but have also taken me to places where I’ve been able to influence people’s brands.”
He revealed that his acting career has opened doors to numerous opportunities, including becoming a brand ambassador.
“I’m still an ambassador for many brands, and some even have me on their billboards, which has really helped me,” he added.
Through his work in Kumawood, Salinko has achieved significant milestones, including acquiring three plots of land.
This accomplishment, he emphasized, was a testament to the financial viability of acting when approached with dedication and consistency.
