Annica Nsiah-Apau, the wife of rapper Okyeame Kwame, has discussed with Fiifi Praat on Kingdom FM the story of how she crossed paths with her husband.
Fondly reminiscing, Annica, who is a lawyer, mentioned that a lift given by the rapper during their unexpected meeting was a pivotal moment in their lives.
Annica shared that she was job hunting when she encountered the rapper on his way to a radio interview at Luv FM. She mentioned that Okyeame Kwame instantly fell in love with her and proposed soon after.
She continued to say after the interview, Okyeame Kwame gave her a ride home where she was introduced to her father, who is now his friend.
Kwame then added that Annica’s father asked him a series of questions to determine if he would be a positive influence on his daughter.
Annica’s father also tried to ascertain his genuine intentions towards her.
During the interview, Okyeame Kwame, who was also in the studios with his wife, responded and revealed how her father grilled him about his profession.
He stated that when he told him he was a musician, Annica’s father advised him to enhance his appearance as a gentleman in order to be more attractive and avoid being perceived as a gangster.
