Henry Fitz’s online tirades, once limited to dramatic social media posts, have now landed him in police custody.
According to a publication by Ghanaweb, Fitz’s arrest follows a series of severe threats he directed at individuals he accused of betrayal, deception, and unpaid debts.
The saga began months ago when rumours surfaced that Fitz’s “Dear Home” hotel had been sold. Outraged, he took to social media to deny the allegations, accusing his critics of spreading lies.
“Dear Home Hotel is not for sale,” he declared emphatically, daring anyone to provide evidence to the contrary.
In a fiery post, Fitz shared documents he claimed validated his ownership. “If you give a loan based on a purchase agreement, it doesn’t mean a default guarantees a sale,” he wrote. “If you spend even a pesewa at the hotel, you will eventually pay me back.”

The drama escalated when Fitz turned his anger toward a man identified as Kwaku Ananse, alleging a $100,000 debt.
While Fitz acknowledged past payments and gifts from Ananse—such as GH¢2,000, a phone, and a car for his wife—he insisted the balance was still due.
But what began as a financial dispute soon spiralled into threats. Fitz’s messages grew increasingly alarming, with him warning Ananse to “ask S.A. what I’m capable of.”
This wasn’t just about money anymore—it was personal. Fitz’s relentless posts were peppered with accusations, ultimatums, and even references to retaliation, drawing widespread concern and public attention.
Eventually, his threats crossed a line. Law enforcement stepped in, apprehending Fitz on charges related to his aggressive and dangerous behaviour.
