Nigerian actress Chika Lann has expressed her belief that heaven and hell are not real, contrary to religious teachings.
She has therefore urged religious extremists to stop harassing her on social media with their doctrines of repentance and salvation.
Chika suggested that Christians should pray to their ancestors for blessings instead, as she views heaven and hell as symbolic concepts present in our earthly lives.
She emphasized that she is content with her current life and has no desire to go to heaven, even if it does exist. Chika then called on her critics to focus on their own lives and leave her in peace.
Sharing the video, she captioned it;
“I don’t want to go to Heaven. So stop wasting your precious time telling me to repent that Heaven is real.
“I advise you to use the same energy you waste for that your church to work hard and pray to your Ancestors and Chukwu to bless you so that you can “Live Heaven on Earth.” Oh yes!
“You don’t have to wait, suffer, and die to go Heaven. The real Heaven and Hell is here on Earth.”
Chika Lann is a Nigerian filmmaker, actress, former model, and television personality. She is often regarded as a controversial figure over her remarks about cost and maintaining her hairstyle. She made her Nollywood debut as a producer for the 2019 film The Millions.
