In a new entertainment news, KK Fosu went berserk during a recent radio interview on Hitz FM as he addressed the criticism he received for missing the funeral of publicist John Claude.
The seasoned Highlife artist acknowledged the negative feedback he and his colleague Bless have received for not paying their respects to the late Ghanaian blogger, who tragically lost his life while accompanying them to a wedding gig that ended in an accident on the Apam road.
During the interview with DJ Slim, KK Fosu emphasized that despite Claude’s passing, he still needs to work to provide for himself.
He explained that as a musician, his livelihood depends on music and performances, so he couldn’t afford to miss out on opportunities like the 2024 Telecel Ghana Music Awards, where he was invited to honour the legendary Amakye Dede as part of his Lifetime Achievement award.
Unfortunately, KK Fosu had to decline the invitation to perform at the event after Amakye Dede advised him that Ghanaians might not react positively due to his involvement in a serious accident while Claude tragically lost his life.
GhanaStreetJournal previously mentioned that Eric Toscar, the Artiste and Repertoire at Lynx Entertainment slammed KK Fosu and Bless for not attending the funeral of their publicist John Claude.
John’s funeral took place on Saturday in his hometown, yet the two aforementioned artists did not show up to bid him farewell.
Eric took to Facebook to publicly call them out, leading to a wave of Ghanaians joining the conversation and expressing similar feelings.
