Kofi Okyere Darko (KOD) has clearly shown his commitment to joining the National Democratic Congress by making an appearance at the Tamale Jubilee Park during the official launch of its campaign for the upcoming December elections.
KOD, a longstanding member of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), recently announced his departure from the NPP due to what he perceives as their significant failures and incompetence in governance.
In a symbolic gesture, KOD arrived at the launch wearing an NDC-themed fugu, encouraging all Ghanaians, especially the youth, to support the NDC’s flagbearer to bring about positive change for the country.
He emphasized that Mahama’s track record in governance demonstrates his dedication to the youth of the nation and his willingness to create a better future for them.
Meanwhile, during the launch, John Mahama was the last to address Ghanaians.

“On this occasion as the flagbearer of the NDC, I declare the NDC campaign duly and officially launched,” John Mahama said while urging the NDC supporters to proceed with their door-to-door campaign in various communities.
The party is set to also launch its manifesto by the end of August in the Central Region.
