Ras Kuuku has argued that Gyakie should have won the Female Vocal Performance award at the recently concluded Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA).

During an interview with DJ Slim on Daybreak Hitz, Ras Kuuku commended Gyakie for her exceptional performance throughout the year.

Furthermore, he highlighted that Gyakie’s captivating voice showcased in her songs makes her a deserving candidate for such recognition.

“I think Gyakie should have won the Female Vocalist of the Year. She did a lot of work last year, especially with the songs she featured the boy (North London’s rap riser JBEE) who is coming from the UK. She did well but she had nothing, why is that so?” he quizzed.

That particular award went to Queendalyn Yurglee. She is a songwriter, poet, gospel recording Artist, an in-depth Worshipper and CEO of The Glory Ministry.
